On 18th November 2021, a warm and glowing crowd gathered in the Robert Burns Birthplace Museum in Alloway, Scotland, for a sit-down chat with poet Simon Lamb, hosted by the wonderful Scottish actor and playwright, Kenny Boyle.
It was the launch night of Simon's book of five themed poetry sequences When the Universe Creaks. The book is available via the Shop tab for £10 now.

Storytime
Throughout the pandemic, Simon has been offering "stories from his sleeping bag" to Scout groups around the UK and beyond, for free, for their virtual camps at home. If you'd like to book a story session, please contact Simon, and he'd love to tell a tale to your young people.

In November and December 2019, Simon Lamb
took to the road for his first solo tour of
Scotland, visiting St Andrews, Dundee, Aberdeen, Edinburgh and his beloved Caithness.
With a wide variety of material from laugh-out-loud comic verse to insightful explorations of topical issues, from short stories and anecdotes inspired by his time as a Primary School teacher to his award-winning showpiece
‘A Miserable Night at the Theatre’, detailing the horrific
and all-too-relatable ordeal of enduring poor behaviour
from fellow audience members at a live performance,
Simon truly provides entertainment for all ages.
The tour ties in with the release of his new poetry pamphlet, ‘Cathedral Sky’, from which Simon will perform a specially-prepared extended extract during the evening.
